The West Canada Municipal Chapter (Head : Eom Kyung-ho) held on January 21, 2013 a New Year informal meeting wishing for national unification at Pink Pearl Restaurant in Vancouver, with religious leaders invited.
There were a total of 80 attendees including Rev. Seo Yeong-o who is the Head of the Korean Christian Church Municipal Chapter, Rev. Hwang Deok-yun, Monk Hyeoneung at Hyeondeung Temple, Vancouver Consul General Choi Yeon-ho, Representative Lee Yong-hun of the local Korean association, Head Kim Il-su of the Korean War Veterans Association, Head Jang Seong-sun of the Veterans Association, and Head Han Dae-won of the Korean Businessmen Association.
The attendees were of one voice, stressing that Koreans in foreign countries should be united in providing support for the unification/diplomatic policies of the Park Geun-hye administration of South Korea.
