The Buan Municipal Chapter (head: Lee Young-sik) of Jeollabuk-do hosted a unification promotion event aimed at local youths from 7 am on March 2, with around 40 council members in attendance.

During this event, which was prepared to establish a base for unification and to spread consensus on unification, promotional materials including simple policy explanations and cartoons were distributed to youths on their way to school. They were created to make it easy for youths to understand the issue of unification and the reality in North Korea.

The Buan Municipal Chapter agreed to continue holding unification promotion events that appeal to the residents, so that they take more interest in unification and North Korea policy as well as form a consensus on unification.
