The Australian Municipal Chapter (Head: Lee Sook-jin) opened the Unification Culture Class last Mar. 24 at the Grace Cultural Center in Campsie, Australia to spread the will for national unification and strengthen the unification ability. A total of 40 overseas Koreans, first-generation immigrants to the country, attended.
Lee Byeong-do, Korean vice consul general to Sydney, gave a lecture on the inter-Korean relations after the Cheonan warship incident provoked by North Korea, recent trend of Pyeongyang, policy toward the south by the Kim Jung-eun regime, and Korean Peninsula’s trust-building process of Park Geun-hye’s government. "The unification culture class was opened to provide a venue for communication with the first-generation immigrants who love and worry about their motherland," said Lee Sook-jin, Head of the municipal chapter.
