  • The Daejeon Provincial Assembly (Vice-chairperson : Kim On-sun) carried out a unification-related PR campaign for young people at Yuseong Oncheon Station for four days beginning February 12. The event was held with the Daejeon Provincial Assembly Youth Committee (Chief : Kim Ok-ho) playing a leading role and in collaboration with the Association of Tongil Dongari (Club for Those Wishing for National Unification) in the 12 universities in Daejeon.
    More than 80 members of the Association of Tongil Dongari in Daejeon led the campaign under the theme of "Need U Attention." The campaign included an exhibit of photos of North Korea and activities carried out by the club and a questionnaire-based survey of people's opinions on national unification.

    At 11:00 AM on February 16, the Daejeon Provincial Assembly held a rally to denounce North Korea's third nuclear test on a street of Yuseong Oncheon with more than 100 people attending, including NUAC council members and North Korean refugees.
