  • The Atlanta Municipal Chapter (Head : Shin Hyun-tae) invited ten children of NUAC council members of the Goeje-si (Gyeongnam) Municipal Chapter for a 20-day stay in the United States.
    The invited students looked around major tourist destinations in Atlanta and Tennessee for ten days beginning January 10 and took part in a class at a private school attached to Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia. They also paid visits to Ivy League schools in Eastern States for five days beginning January 26. The Atlanta Municipal Chapter collected a total of $33,000 and rice, which would be provided to needy neighbors.
