  • Seongbuk-gu Seoul Municipal Chapter provides free medical services for senior citizens living alone, etc.
  • The Seongbuk-gu Seoul Municipal Chapter (Head : Lee Sang-ho) provided free medical services for about a thousand people -- including North Korean refugees, those from multicultural families, and senior citizens living alone -- in a space provided by the Seongbuk-Gu Office on October 1, 2012. The services were provided by 12 doctors including Head Lee Sang-ho, a Korean medicine doctor, and 2 pharmacists.
    “We provided the services to help North Korean refugees and aliens married to Koreans (i.e., those from multicultural families) start a new life in this country by maintaining good health.
    We also wanted to provide what little help we can to senior citizens living alone,” Head Lee Sang-ho of the Provincial Assembly said.
