  • Gwangsan-gu Gwangju Municipal Chapter gives lecture on unification for college students
  • The Yangcheon-gu Seoul Municipal Chapter (Head : Kim Yong-chae) held on November 20, 2012 a unification-related lecture session at Gwangju Health University -- with more than 120 students attending -- as part of a program of giving lectures by touring universities across the country.

    Professor Roh Chan-baek of Gwangju Health University made a presentation on "Understanding the Problems of Unification of Korea," and then held a debate session with participating college students.

    During the debate session, panelists expressed opinions on diverse subjects such as peace on the Korean Peninsula, establishment of defense capability, reinforcement of democratic citizen consciousness, exchange and collaboration between the two Koreas, fostering of future unification-related vision and national consensus on unification, and role and responsibility of young people as key actors of unification.
