The Seo-gu Municipal Chapter (head: Oh Se-cheol) of Gwangju hosted in the morning of April 23 the "2nd Trekking with North Korean Refugees in Hope of Unification" with around 200 participants, including North Korean refugees, council members, and local residents under its jurisdiction, on the route from Gwangju City Hall to Gwangjucheon Stream.
Administered by the Youth Standing Committee (chief: Lee Seok-woo), the trekking was held along with the “One-line Unification Thought” speech contest in hope of unification, balloon flying in hope of unification, Taegeukgi face painting, and release of unification fry as well as the distribution of publicity materials on Government 3.0 for broadening understanding of the government's policy on North Korea.
