The Women’s Committee of the Gyeongnam Municipal Chapter (chief: Kim Eul-soon) held the National Unification Festival for Women Leaders last Sept. 29 at the Jinhae Cultural Center, inviting 230 women council members and leaders in the local society. The festival featured a competition of cooking a gigantic bowl of rice mixed with assorted vegetables and meats, called "Bibimbap" in Korean, and a quiz contest. Shin Eun-ha, who defected from North Korea, recently gave a lecture on "Let Us Lead a Changing Life" to recount her former life when she lived in North Korea.
