The Southwest Asia Municipal Chapter (Head: Choi Kyu-joon) held the 3rd General Assembly and workshop for council members on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in Chiang Rai on the northern tip of Thailand.

The members attended the workshop with their families. Korean Consul General to Thailand, Jeon Seong-su, gave a lecture titled "Recent International Situation and Security of Korean Peninsula."  This was followed by a quiz program on national unification for the youngsters attending the event. The major activities of the municipal chapter for the youth -- such as arts exchange between Korean and Thai youth -- were evaluated, and 2014 action plans were discussed.
