Beijing Municipal Chapter holds seminar on the two big political meetings in China

The Beijing Municipal Chapter (Head : Lee Hun-bok) held on May 20, 2013 a seminar on Lianghui [the two big political meetings in China, i.e., Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and National People's Congress (NPC)] at Zixiamen (Korean Restaurant) in Beijing to have better understanding of China under the leadership of Xi Jin-ping.
During the session, Mr. Kim Sang-sun, leader of the unification-related research team of the Beijing Municipal Chapter, made a presentation on "Lianghui and China's Dream of Becoming a Marine Power." He was followed by Mr. Lee Seong-hyeon, a researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) of the United States, who made a presentation on "Lianghui and Outlook on China's Development."
The Beijing Municipal Chapter decided to launch the Unification Policy Research Team for the promotion of NUAC council members' more substantial activities. Said team was composed of Mr. Kim Sang-sun (team leader; major in international relations at Beijing University), Mr. Lee Seong-hyeon, Dr. Jeong Da-hun (major in international relations at Beijing University), and Dr. Jeong Jae-heung [major in international politics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)].
