Donation of Funds to Build the “Wall of Remembrance” for Korean War Veterans in the US
NUAC held a donation ceremony at 11 am on March 4 (local time) to build the “Wall of Remembrance” at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.
At the donation ceremony that day, Executive Vice-chairperson Yoo Ho-yeol, representing NUAC council members, delivered a donation worth $205,000 (apprx. KRW 237 million) for the construction of the “Wall of Remembrance” to William E. Weber, Chairman of the Korean War Memorial Foundation. The donation was prepared through voluntary contributions of council members in Korea and abroad. The “Wall of Remembrance,” which will be built at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington DC, is planned to be completed in 2020.

The construction of the “Wall of Remembrance” will serve to strengthen further the ROK-US alliance as well as to reaffirm the Trump administration’s unwavering will for the security of the Korean Peninsula.
