The Ansan Municipal Chapter (head: Yoo Oh-bok) of Gyeonggi-do held an opening ceremony for the “Unification College 13th National Unification Leadership Academy,” which nurtures unification leaders by cultivating expertise in unification/North Korea and boosting the will toward unification, at the auditorium on the second floor of Ansan City Hall on March 9.

At the first lecture held along with the opening ceremony, Ahn Ze-no, researcher of the Institute for National Security Strategy, gave a special lecture explaining the purpose and operation of the academy and diagnosing the recent condition of North Korea. Ansan Mayor Je Jong-gil gave a lecture on the topic “Vision and Unification Movement of Ansan.”

At the Unification College, 2-hour expert lectures on North Korea policy, international circumstances, trends in North Korea, and security issues are held every Thursday from 7 pm for 13 weeks, including field visits to security sites.
