The Myanmar Branch (head: Jeon Seong-ho) of the Southwest Asia Chapter held the “Junior NUAC Conference” at the second floor of the annex in the Korean Embassy in Myanmar on November 5.

The conference included active presentations by junior NUAC members on topics for enhancing awareness and willingness of juniors with regard to unification, such as “Why is unification necessary?” “What can be done to prepare for unification?” “What will happen when unification occurs?” and “What are the issues about the 5th nuclear experiment by North Korea?” There was also a session for explaining “the national symbols of Korea” by branch head Jeon Seong-ho and a video lecture by Ms. Park Yeon-mi, a college student who defected from North Korea, to introduce the “brutal reality in North Korea.”
