The Nowon-gu Municipal Chapter (head: Shin Hae-doo) of Seoul held a unification integration walking festival featuring “Hanging the Korean Flag in 104 Village” on June 3 in Junggyebon-dong.

Celebrating the month of Patriotic Veterans, this event sought to inspire further love for our country and love for our flag through a walking event and a flag hanging event, where over 100 people participated including council members and local residents.

The Nowon-gu Municipal Chapter also held the third mentoring lecture for North Korean Refugee adolescents on May 26. This lecture included “Fun Korean learning” taught by our consultant Mo Soon Young, analysis of study patterns and consultations by Byun Hwa-young, head of the daily English vocabulary research center, and learning of English vocabulary by utilizing computers by council member Baek Gil-hyun.
