The Euijeongbu Municipal Chapter (head: Kim Jeom-soon) of Gyeonggi-do held a signing ceremony for the business agreement with Northern Gyeonggi Hana Center on December 5 with the participation of around 30 people, including North Korean defectors, head of Northern Gyeonggi Hana Center, and council members.

Through this business agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate on helping North Korean defectors gain psychological and emotional stability by supporting early defector families' settlement in South Korea after leaving Hanawon (settlement support center for North Korean refugees) and providing various tips on living in South Korea.

In the future, the Euijeongbu Municipal Chapter plans to operate a South-North Korean resident social integration program to help North Korean defectors stably settle in society by supporting house cleaning and social/cultural experience activities for early defector families.
