The Hong Kong Branch (chief: Lee Gap-soo) of the Southeast Asia Northern Chapter (head: Lee Young-baek) held on April 13 the awarding ceremony for the 15th letter writing contest with around 80 participants including the Korean youth in Hong Kong and their parents at the Hong Kong Korean International School.

Last March 17, the Hong Kong Branch held the letter writing contest for the purpose of increasing the awareness of overseas Korean youth regarding the sense of Korean community and to strengthen unification capabilities. The letter writing contest, themed “Unification starts with me,” had elementary, middle, and high school divisions and involved writing letters to the youth in North Korea. In the awarding ceremony, a total of 22 students, including Kwon Nam-hyun (elementary), Kim Min-hee (middle), and Kim Hyun-soo (high), who won the Grand Prizes, had the honor of receiving awards.
