  • The Orange San Diego Municipal Chapter (Head : Han Gwang-seong) awarded prizes to winning hands-on essays on identity/unification-related education during the recent contest at a ceremony held on January 8, 2013 at the banquet room of the Fullerton Howard Johnson Hotel to greet the New Year.
    The Grand Prize was presented to Kang Su-yeong, who submitted an essay titled Invitation Letter Sent to a Daughter. At the ceremony attended by more than 100 NUAC council members and representatives of local Korean Americans, Consul General Shin Yeon-seong gave a special lecture on the "Need for Establishment of Identity as Koreans"; citations were presented to NUAC council members who had carried out exemplary unification-related activities.
