The Geumsan Municipal Chapter (head: Tae Jin-soo) of Chungcheongnam-do held a unification training for council members at Masan University and North Korea Hall in Gyeongnam for two days from November 8 in order to strengthen capabilities and promote friendship among the council members.

The unification training included lectures on “Local regions and unification” by Professor Cho Jae-wook of Kyungnam University’s Department of Political Science and Diplomacy and “All of us must protect security in South Korea” by Lee Hye-young, a lecturer who defected from North Korea.

On the second day, the council members visited the North Korea Hall in Gyeongnam to tour the hall and watched video clips on the reality of North Korea. The council members who attended the training noted that the special lectures in the unification training by experts on unification and North Korea were very beneficial, and that this was a time for strengthening their capabilities and making exchanges with one another.
