The Seongju-gun Municipal Chapter (head: Kim Young-jo) of Gyeongsangbuk-do held a “Youth Unification Leadership Camp” on June 3-4 at the Camp Greaves DMZ Experience Center in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, with 40 students from Seongju Middle School participating.

This leadership camp included activities such as visiting the Dorasan Observatory and the Dorasan Peace Park along with various activities to strengthen the will and capacity of unification in order to allow the youth to understand the pain of a divided nation and grasp the necessity of peaceful unification and their respective roles.

A video titled “Two Types of Good” based on the topic “Pain of the Korean War and Overcoming it” was screened; this was followed by domino games and quiz contests that sought to increase communication and spirit of teamwork. Presentations and discussions for respective ideas and opinions of unification were also held.
