The Qingdao Municipal Chapter (head: Rhee Young-nam) of China held on April 9 the Youth Unification Writing and Drawing Contest at the Korea International School in Qingdao in order to increase the interest of young people in unification and to develop their passion for unification. This event, which was participated in by around 250 young people in the regions of Qingdao, Weihai, and Yantai, included a letter writing contest — with our compatriots in North Korea as the letter receivers — during the morning session and a drawing contest in hope of unification during the afternoon session.
