The Haenam Municipal Chapter in Jeollanam-do (Jeonnam) (Head: Gang Dong-il) and the Berlin Chapter of the North European Municipal Chapter held a meeting at Seoulgwan, a Korean restaurant in Berlin, Germany, on April 4, 2015 to celebrate the signing of an agreement of exchange with the aim of promoting friendly relations and to commemorate the 70th anniversary of independence.  

The meeting was attended by more than 40 people including Shin Seong-cheol, Korean minister to the Federal Republic of Germany, Kim Dae-cheol, chairman of the Korean Society in Berlin, council members of the Haenam Chapter and Berlin Office, and other members of the Korean Society in Berlin.
