The Hanoi Branch (head: Kim Jeong-in) of the Vietnam Municipal Chapter held a 2015 New Year’s Meeting on Jan. 15 at Grand Plaza Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam to discuss national unification, inviting Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Jeon Dae-ju. “Healthy unification can be achieved not by improvisation but by comprehensive preparation and harmony in the areas of people’s sentiment toward unification and culture,” said Ambassador Jun.

The main activities planned for 2015 by the Hanoi Branch with regard to national unification were discussed during the ceremony. “The Hanoi Branch will promote unification movements more actively this year, and our 2015 plan includes organizing unification quiz contests, a unification forum, and other programs to promote harmony among the Korean people living in Hanoi,” said Kim Jun-in, branch office head.
