Singapore branch chapter of South East Municipal Chapter (Head: Bong Se-jong) held an award ceremony for a national unification essay contest last Sep. 14 at Toa Payoh Stadium in Singapore under the presence of around 1,000 people including those from Korean communities, council members and students. 
 

Subjects given to the contest were as follow: “Our journey we can enjoy after unification.” “What do I want to do first when Korean Peninsula is unified?” “The unification I want.” “The unification that I dream.”  The top prize was awarded to Kim Kyung-eun (7th grader at Korea International School of Singapore) for her essay entitled, “Wish of My Great-Grandmother”, and the next prize was given to Lee Hyun-ho (2nd grader at Korea International School of Singapore) for his essay, “The Unification That I Want”.
