  • Chilgok-gun (Gyeongbuk-do) Municipal Chapter holds memorial ceremony for US troops killed in action during the Korean War
  • The Chilgok-gun (Gyeongbuk-do) Municipal Chapter (Head : Kim Yun-o) held on August 16, 2013 a memorial ceremony for the 42 US troops killed in action at 303 Hill in Waegwan during the Korean War.
    The US troops were captured by North Koreans and massacred at 303 Hill. The memorial service was attended by about 70 people, including Lt. Col. Richard Razik of the US Army, the 6th Ordinance Battalion and his men, Chilgok-Gun Administrator Baek Seon-gi, heads of local institutions, and NUAC council members.
