  • Hanam-si (Gyeonggi-do) Municipal Chapter presents awards to winning unification-related newspapers made by elementary school students
  • The Hanam-si (Gyeonggi-do) Municipal Chapter (Head : Park Sun-chang) presented awards to elementary school students whose works won in the 7th annual unification-related newspaper production contest during a ceremony held on June 26 at the Hanam City Hall.
    At the ceremony attended by about 150 people including students, teachers, parents, and NUAC council members, the Grand Prize was given to Kim Ga-eun (6th grader, Pungsan Elementary School). The Gold Prize was given to Kim Seon-jin (5th grader, Cheonhyeon Elementary School), with 24 other pupils receiving prizes.
    More than 100 pupils in Hanam-si submitted their works in the contest, and experts served as judges in the selection of prize winners.
    The prize winners will be given an opportunity to pay visits to national security-related sites such as the DMZ, Peace Observation Lookout, and Baengma Hill in August.
