  • Qingdao Municipal Chapter holds unification-related painting contest for young people
  • The Qingdao Municipal Chapter (Head : Lee Seok-jae) held on June 8, 2013 a unification-related painting contest for elementary and secondary students at the Zhongshi Korean International School in Weihai.
    The 150 students who attended the painting contest were those who passed the preliminary process at each school in Shandong. The 20-plus executive members of the Korean Association in Weihai were present at the session to encourage the students.
    The first prize went to Ahn Jong-hyeon (Chengdu Korean International School) in the elementary school category, Jo I-jun (Yentai Korean School) in the middle school category, and Lee Gi-chan (Yentai Korean School) in the high school category.
    On June 18, the Qingdao Municipal Chapter held at the theater of the Qingdao Holiday Hotel The Beautiful Concert in Qindao wishing for national unification, with about 1,000 people attending.
