The NUAC Yeongdeungpo-gu Municipal Chapter (Head: Kim Won-gook) of Seoul held a special lecture with Secretary General Kwon Tae-oh on October 7 at Yeongdeungpo Art Hall, which was attended by a total of around 700 including NUAC council members and local residents.

"I hope this lecture has been helpful in objectively understanding the reality of our national security and the direction of response to provocations by North Korea and in bringing together national opinion. The sanctions against North Korea by the international community must continue in order to prevent nuclear experiments and missile threats by North Korea based on a unified national opinion," Secretary General Kwon Tae-oh said. He also urged council members to “lead the way in uniting the nation together."

After Secretary General Kwon's lecture, all participants sang "Our Wish" and waved the Korean flag, with the hope of unification in mind.
