Lecture on National Unification
- “The building of the foundation for peaceful unification is included in the 4 key notes of administering state affairs of Park Geun-hye’s government, and the Committee to Prepare for National Unification was established in 2014. It is one of the processes for advancing into unification, and we will commit a historical error if we miss a good opportunity to unify the country due to our non-preparedness for it. Unification can never be achieved only by the efforts of the government; it will come true when all Koreans at home and abroad become of one mind. Unification will provide a foundation for the great takeoff of Korean people. The unification of the Korean Peninsula is a bonanza not only for Korea but also for China. NUAC members in China should explain to the Chinese people why Korea should be unified and why unified Korea could be a jackpot for China. I hope all of you will lead the unification movement with confidence so that unification can be realized,” said NUAC Executive Vice-chairperson Hyun Kyung-dae in his unification lecture.
