A total of 51 Ewha Korean School volunteer students and NUAC council members of the Qingdao Municipal Chapter carried out voluntary activities at a senior citizen facility in Qingdao on March 22, 2013.
Upon entering the facility, young pupils exclaimed in joyous voices, "Grandmas, we are here!" The faces of the senior citizens broke into delighted smiles as they welcomed the young visitors.
Mr. Lee Ho-cheol, a teacher at Qingdao Ewha Korean School, divided the students into groups assigned with specific duties: those helping senior citizens drink beverages; those massaging the limbs of senior citizens; those listening to senior citizens; those helping senior citizens go to the restroom, and; those entertaining senior citizens.
Mr. Gang Jong-gye, an NUAC council member, provided packs of bean milk to senior citizens.
