The Asan Municipal Chapter (head: Kim Sei-young) of Chungcheongnam-do hosted the “2017 Unification Era Citizen Class” at the Cheil Hotel Onyang on March 21.

Around 100 council members and locals attended the “Unification Era Citizen Class,” which was prepared to provide information on the current issue of North Korea policy and the reality of North Korea as well as to form a healthy narrative on unification.

At the lectures that day, North Korean defector and lecturer Lee Mi-yeon talked about the reality of North Korea on the topic “Understanding North Korea, Understanding Unification.” Ahn Ze-no, researcher of the Institute for National Security Strategy, talked about the international situation surrounding unification and the need for unification on the topic “Unification Vision and Integration of Public Opinion.”
