The Beijing Municipal Chapter (Head : Lee Hun-bok) held on December 4, 2012 a special lecture session at Zixiamen (Korean Restaurant) in Wang Jing, Beijing under the theme of "Relationships between the United States and China under the Leadership of Xi Jin-ping and Their Impact on the Korean Peninsula." With Professor Sun Zhe, Director of the Center for US-China Relations at Tsinghua University, invited as lecturer, the lecture was attended by more than 50 people including NUAC council members and those representing local Korean society. Attendees also discussed the relations between the United States and China, their influence on international politics, and their impact on inter-Korea relations and on the unification of the two Koreas.
