Masan Branch (Head Jo Seong-yun) of the Changwon Municipal Chapter in Gyeongnam Province held the Launching ceremony for the Juvenile Squad of National Unification on Dec. 1st at Happo-gu Office in Masan with 42 elementary students from Gagopa and Wolseong Elementary Schools attending.
 

The squad was established to educate the young children about national unification, while broadening their view of the state and sense of duty for unification. The activity plan of the squad was reported at the ceremony before the members read the oath and the handover of the appointment letter and squad flag.

Squad members were selected by the recommendation of the school principals in the area. They will receive education on unification every quarter of the year, meet with the defectors from North Korea around their ages, attend the juvenile unification camp, participate in a quiz contest and field study.
