The Jeju Provincial Assembly’s Women Committee (Chief : Kim Mun-ja) held the Happiness Academy graduation ceremony on June 15, 2013 at the Convention Hall of the Grand Hotel Jeju.
The ceremony was attended by more than 70 people including female NUAC members of the Jeju Provincial Assembly, executive members of the Hana Center (institution for North Korean refugees), and North Korean refugees.
The Happiness Academy is a program designed to help North Korean refugees adapt to life in the South. A total of ten sessions were held between September 2012 and June 2013 with focus on contents related to politics, economy, culture, and arts.
