The Sacheon Municipal Chapter (head: Jeon Jae-seok) of Gyeongsangnam-do hosted the “2016 Love of Country Unification Festival” at the Samcheonpo Gymnasium on December 8 with the participation of around 800 people, including children and teachers from regional preschool institutes.

This event included various programs such as drawing unification pictures, ball-rolling with teachers and children, cracking gourds for great unification, and children's unification golden bell. In addition, children's thoughts on unification could be seen through unification creation experiences and participation tailored to children's levels, which served as an opportunity to reconsider the meaning of love of country.

"We hope that this event serves as an opportunity to approach the issue of unification naturally and recognize the necessity of unification at the present point of time when the necessity of children's education on unification is being emphasized," Chapter head Jeon Jae-seok said.
