The Suyeong-gu Municipal Chapter (head: Kim Jong-soo) of Busan hosted an event for distributing balloons with the text “Unification making 80 million people happy” on January 1, 6AM at Gwangalli Beach, with head Kim Jong-soo and around 20 council members in attendance.

This event has been held annually by the Suyeong-gu Municipal Chapter of Busan since 2012 in hopes of unification and fulfillment of New Year’s wish.
