The Icheon Municipal Chapter (head: Oh Moon-sik) of Gyeonggi-do hosted the “2016 Children Unification Sympathy Art Competition” on November 5 at the plaza in front of Woljeon Museum of Art Icheon.

The art competition, which was participated in by around 150 people from the kindergarten and elementary divisions, was hosted in order to have children who are the future leaders of the unified Korea express various ideas on unification through the themes of unified Korea, things to do after achieving unification, and importance of achieving peaceful unification.

The Grand Prize was won by student Han Seo-jin (Grade 5, Doam Elementary School), the Second Prize, by student Jeong Ga-on (Grade 4, Seolbong Elementary School), and the Third Prize (prize by the Icheon Office of Education), by students Son Ji-ho, Shin Ha-cho, and Jo Hae-yeon from the kindergarten attached to Doam Elementary School.
