The Gwacheon Municipal Chapter (Head: Lee Soon-hyung) of Gyeonggi-do hosted the "Unification Music Festival – Chorus Toward Unification" at the small theater at the Gwacheon Community Center on October 16.

The Unification Music Festival, held for the 4th time this year, was planned in the direction of acknowledging that North and South are the same ethnicity sharing similar emotions through a comparison of North and South Korean songs that express the common people's joys and sorrows.

The music festival included arias by famous vocalists and performances by the Gwon Seol-gyeong Art Troupe of Pyongyang, children from defecting youth sharing community "Our Home," Gwacheon Musical Town Choir, and Gwacheon Senior Choir, captivating the audience with their beautiful voices.
