Gimcheon Municipal Chapter (Head: Baek Yeong-hak) of Gyeongbuk and Wanju Municipal Chapter (Head: Yoo Jeong-sik) of Jeonbuk forged sisterhood relations in an agreement signing ceremony held last Nov. 21 at Gimcheon Park Hotel together with the regular meeting of the municipal chapters. Activities of the sisterhood relationship were reported, with the participants discussing current issues on inter-Korean relations.

They agreed to devote themselves more to realizing the Park Geun-hye Administration's policy of the Korean Peninsula’s Trust-Building Process to achieve the peaceful unification of the country and to make more efforts in obtaining full support for the policy and establishing a better bond of sympathy toward such. 

After the ceremony, council members of the two municipal chapters visited historical and cultural sites in the area including Jikjisa Temple and exchanged specialties of their respective regions.
