Yangcheon Municipal Chapter (Head: Lim Kyung-ha) held joint ancestral rites for the Chuseok Holidays for North Korean refugees last Sep. 12 at Imjingak Worshiping Platform.
90 attendants including Jeon Gwi-kwon, deputy Mayor of Yangcheon-gu District, some North Korean refugees and council members held joint ancestral rites and female members of the council prepared the rites table.     

Before the rites, 70 people including Lim Kyung-ha, head of the municipal chapter, council members, the North Korean refugees and housewives of multicultural homes had a Chuseok festival cuisine cooking event last Sep. 7 at the Regional Development & Welfare Center of Sinjeong 7-dong, Yangcheon-gu.
Kim Sun-cheong, chief of women standing committee and other members provided the food for the ancestral rites, while Lim Kyung-ha, head of the municipal chapter, actively participated in cooking various food. Also, the attendants discussed the differences between how Koreans in the north and south enjoy traditional festival seasons as well as how North Korean refugees can adapt to society in the South.
