The NUAC training for council members of Chungcheongbuk-do Province was held at Daemyung Resort in Danyang for 2 days on September 29~30. During this training, various programs for strengthening regional preparation for unification were held, including a special lecture by Executive Vice-chairperson Yoo Ho-yeol.
Opening address by Han Sang-gil, Vice-chairperson of Chungcheongbuk-do Assembly
For starters, Chungcheongbuk-do Assembly Vice-chairperson Han Sang-gil gave special meaning to the Chungbuk area training being held under stringent circumstances involving North Korean nuclear arms, expressing hope that this event becomes an opportunity to reconsider regional capabilities regarding unification through active participation and communication.

NUAC Executive Vice-chairperson Yoo Ho-yeol gave a special lecture on the topic “The Role of NUAC in the Dismantling of North Korean Nuclear Arms and Concentration of Public Opinion on Unification.”

This was followed by a lecture by Professor Lee Tae-yoon of Korea National Defense University on the topic “Our Policy Direction against the North Korean Nuclear threat,” which was a great opportunity for systematically understanding the ever-changing circumstances in Northeast Asia and the issue of North Korean nuclear arms.

In addition, the “Unification Talk Concert with North Korean Refugees” by Professor Kang Dong-wan of Dong-A University allowed the audience to understand the reality of North Korea in vivid detail.
