The Yangpyeong Municipal Chapter (Head: Kim Soo-han) of Gyeonggi-do held a unification site tour of the War Memorial Hall in Yongsan, Seoul for children and adolescents for two days from October 11 in order to strengthen the unification capabilities.

At this unification site tour, students and teachers from Kangha Elementary School, along with council members, had time to reiterate the importance of national security and to wish for peaceful unification.

"I thought that the Korean War was just an event of the past, but I learned that the scars of the past are still haunting us today. I will study and think about the unification and development of our country from now on," said one fifth grader who participated in the tour.
