The Geochang Municipal Chapter (head: Shin Hyun-ki) of Gyeongsangnam-do held a class of sharing unification and experiencing division for the youth with 76 participants including second year students and teachers at Geochang Girls High School from August 19 to 20.

Students toured Panmunjeom, Third Tunnel, and Dora Observatory and had an opportunity to think about the pain of division and peaceful unification of the two Koreas. They also visited Seoul National Cemetery to pay their respects to the souls of all the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.

The Geochang Chapter provides field experience education for unification every year in order to have the youths recognize the reality of division and increase awareness of the importance of peace.
