The Yeongcheon Municipal Chapter (head: Ryu Si-hong) of Gyeongsangbuk-do visited the Yeongcheon regiment of the 50th division of the Korean Army on November 17 in order to encourage the soldiers who are striving to protect the country.

First, in the Talk Concert presided over by Professor Gang Dong-wan of Dong-A University, 4 lecturers who defected from North Korea talked about security for unification and lives in North Korea, sharing thoughts on the importance of unification and security.

In addition, a tasting session for experiencing North Korean foods was conducted by sharing with the soldiers North Korean tofu rice and North Korean-style sausage, which were made by female council members and members of unification women's corps. The soldiers who tasted North Korean foods for the first time enjoyed the new experience and showed immense interest. Moreover, various performances using electric violin and opera were given in order to encourage and boost the morale of the soldiers.
