The Nam-gu Municipal Chapter of Ulsan (head: Gong Tae-bok) held an event dubbed “Sharing Love with North Korean Refugees on New Year’s Day” on Feb. 12 at the Ulsan Culture Art Center and donated 10 million won to them.

A total of 100 people attended the event including Seo Dong-wook, mayor of Namgu, mentors for the young North Korean teenage refugees, 48 households of North Korean refugees living in Namgu, Ulsan, and Ulsan Nambu Police Station officers. Onnuri gift certificates that can be used at traditional markets and other gifts from NUAC (The National Unification Advisory Council) members were presented to the North Korean refugees in the district.
