The Southern Europe Municipal Chapter (Head Choi Byeong-won) held a walkathon for peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula on Nov. 1st in Paris, France. Over 200 Koreans and French civilians participated in the event to walk 9 km in the outskirts of Paris. The Mayor of Paris welcomed the participants. They enjoyed binding ribbons that symbolized hope of unification, cultural performances, flying paper airplanes with written wishes for unification and a quiz contest.
