The Jeollabuk-do Provincial Assembly (Vice-chairperson : Kim Yeong-gu) organized the Unification Seminar Inviting Journalists jointly with the Jeonju Municipal Chapter (Head: Song Hyeon-man) last Apr. 7 in Jeonju Ofelis Convention Wedding.
A total of 200 local residents and council members attended the seminar, held as one of the events of the Jeollabuk-do Peaceful Unification Forum where Honorary Prof. Yu Cheol-jong of Chonbuk National Univ. presented his keynote address regarding the revitalization of the unification movement in the local community.
Park Ki-hong, manager of the Political Dept. of the Jeollabuk-do Resident Daily, Kim Myeong-seong, director of the News Dept. of Jeonju KBS, Song In-ho, director of the News Dept. of Jeonju MBC, Sung Ji-ho, director of the News Dept. of JTV, Lee Kyeong-jae, chief editor of the Jeollabuk-do Daily, Yu Dong-seong, chief editor of the Jeolla Daily, and Jeong Bok-gyu, chief editor of the New Jeollabuk-do Daily, presented various opinions on the subject.
