The Yecheon Municipal Chapter (head: Gang Moo-han) of Gyeongsangbuk-do hosted the “Unification Age Civic Class” at the Yecheon Youth Training Center on December 9 with the participation of around 200 people, including council members and local residents.

At this day's civic class, there was a special lecture on the topic of “Unified Society and Unification Culture of Learning” by Ahn Zeno, researcher at the Institute for National Security Strategy. "Unification is an irresistible flow of the age, and the solution lies in the change of perception throughout society. We need a more fundamental change of perception," Researcher Ahn emphasized.

Next, North Korean defector and instructor Lee Soon-sil, who gave a lecture on the topic of “Strong Security is Our Happiness,” attracted participants' attention by vividly describing the school life of North Korean students, the reality of North Korean residents, the path of escape, and other stories.

Chapter Head Gang Moo-han, who prepared the civic classes, expressed hope that this serves as a time to maximize capability for unification by understanding the reality of North Korea more vividly and communicating about issues of unification.
