The Jeonju Municipal Chapter (head: Na Chun-gyun) of Jeollabuk-do hosted the “Unification Story with North Korean Youth Defectors” at the media room of Jeonil High School on December 2, targeting high school juniors.
At this event, which was prepared to nurture a healthy future generation for unification by spreading the youth's proper understanding of the reality in North Korea and perception on the necessity of unification, teacher Choi Gi-dae and student Kim Hyo-sim of Hangyeore High School talked about the difference between the life of North Korean youths living under the North Korean regime and that of South Korea. The attendees had time to understand each other's differences.
A student of Jeonil High School, who answered Kim Hyo-sim's question "What is unification to me?" with "Glasses," said, "I didn't know much when I wasn't wearing glasses, but after putting on 'glasses' with interest in unification, I realized the importance of unification."
