The Jeonju Municipal Chapter (head: Na Chun-gyun) of Jeollabuk-do visited the leader development workshop of the Jeonju community service group on November 12 in order to host the 2016 Citizen School for the Era of Unification.

Hosted at Sanggwan Resort in Wanju-gun, the Citizen School for the Era of Unification invited President Ji Seong-ho of NAUH, a youth group for human rights in North Korea, to discuss the issue of human rights in North Korea and the role of leaders in preparation for unification with the leaders of community service groups in the region.

The citizen school, which was conducted in the form of unification talk concert, was a time when Municipal Chapter Head Na Chun-gyun and NAUH President Ji Seong-ho shared the reality of North Korea and had talks about the process of defection and settling in South Korea with female defectors. It was also an opportunity to discuss how those who engage in community service activities can sympathize with North Korean defectors and prepare for the peaceful unification of South Korea and North Korea.
